Phenolic resins are the oldest synthetic polymers used in the wood - based industry. Having excellent long term water, wheather and high temperature resistance, these resin types serve as the only choice for the production of plywood and OSB for exterior use or in heavy humid conditions.
CHIMAR provides PF resin technology of the resole type for the production of exterior grade plywood. CHIMAR PF resins are compatible with most of the fillers and the substitutes used.
The CHIMAR PF resins for OSB/3 and OSB/4 production are compatible with any other adhesive as well as any additive used in a particular customer plant.
