CHIMAR provides the wood based panel producers with technology for special hardeners (reaction accelerators) for all types of resins and composite panels.
The hardeners can substitute totally or replace partially the conventional ones.
They are offered in solid or liquid form and can be produced in situ as well.
Using CHIMAR hardeners up to 20% increase of the productivity is achieved by reducing the press cycle.
The enhanced properties of the panels produced when hardeners are used enable cost savings by reducing the resin level.
Specially designed hardeners for application with MUF resins resulted in improved water resistance of the panels and/or cost savings by reducing the melamine content of the binder.
